Kerinci Seblat National Park located in the state of Indonesia, is a representative ecosystem types, lowland rain forest to sub-alpine ecosystems as well as some unique ecosystems such as peat swamps, freshwater marshes and lakes.

Forest National Park, Kerinci Seblat has 4,000 kinds of plants that is dominated by the Dipterocarpaceae family. Rare and endemic plants such as Kerinci pine (Pinus merkusii strain Kerinci), wood bloodsucker (Harpulia Alborea), Raflesia flower (Rafflesia arnoldi and R. hasseltii), and the corpse flower (Amorphophallus titanum and A. déçus-silvae).

Kerinci Seblat National Park has 37 species of mammals, 10 species of reptiles, 6 species of amphibian, eight species of primates and 139 bird species.

Another potential that attracted the attention of visitors in national parks, such as observation noise hornbills (Buceros sumatranus rhinoceros) and towering (Aceros undulatus undulatus) and the laughter of hysteria stunning ivory birds (Rhinoplax vigil); the golden cat (Catopuma temminckii temminckii) a very mysterious; and the existence of unsolved mysteries about the kind of primate species that walked upright and quickly disappeared among the trees, where local people called it "short people".

Seven Lakes Mountain

Kerinci Seblat National Park has become an integrated conservation and development programs (Integrated Conservation Development Program - ICDP).

Some locations / attractions to visit:
Mount Kerinci. Hiking and camping. Mount Kerinci (3805 m asl) is the highest volcano in Indonesia and is still active.
Seven Mountain Lake. Panoramic view of the lake, and wildlife observation. Seven Lakes Mountain is the highest volcanic lake in Sumatra (2,000 m asl) covering 1,000 ha, surrounded by seven mountains.
Sleek and Kasah marl caves. Looking at the cave complex that is rich in stalactites and stalaknit
Grao Solar, Nguak and Turmeric. Saw bursts of hot water (the water was very clear) as high as 15 meters and observing animals.
Letter W. Seeing the interest Raflesia and carrion flower, and the Sumatran rabbit.
Ladeh Rawa Panjang. Research and wildlife observation.

Cultural tourism. Looking at the Kubu tribe culture is still traditional.

Cultural attractions outside the Park: Parade of Cultures in November on the River Full, Malay Culture in January at Edinburgh, and Tabot Festival in June in Bengkulu.

The best visiting season: January s / d in October each year.

How to reach the location:
From Padang Full-Tapan-River is 278 km (7-8 hours) by car, Padang-Muaralabuh Tuo-grit, 211 km (5-6 hours) by car, Jambi Full-Sarko-River, 500 km (9-10 hours) by car and Bengkulu Full-Tapan-River, 417 km (8-9 hours) by car.
